Nick Grimshaw's Radio 1 demonstrate receives worst ever listening figures

Nick Grimshaw has recorded the cheapest listening figures for BBC Radio 1's breakfast display since documents started.
The DJ, who took above the slot from Chris Moyles in 2012, observed his viewers drop under five million listeners for each week in the 3rd quarter of this year.
The display recorded four.93 million weekly listeners among July and September - down from five.5 million previous quarter.

He also explained there was even now a ten.5 million weekly listenership throughout the station and that Radio 1 experienced 9.four million subscribers on social media, with an extra five million on YouTube.
Listening figures for all stations are traditionally lower in the summer season months - but Grimshaw's figures are the lowest for any Radio one breakfast demonstrate because viewers study body Rajar commenced gathering data.
